Alice Graves is a graduate of the BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear Product Design course. She has spent her final year at London College of Fashion designing her graduation footwear collection entitled Prism. The design influences that have inspired the range come from minimal forms, urban street style and the sculptural works of Danish artist Olafur Eliasson.

The Prism brand is about mixing the simplicity of Scandinavian design and blending it with a playful London edge.

Alice is now looking for employment and further design experiences in the footwear industry.

Awards: The Prism collection has been shortlisted for the Cordwainer's Jimmy Choo Footwear Award 2012.

Footwear Industry Experience:

Bianco Footwear, Denmark: August 2010 to June 2011
Design Intern at Bianco a Scandinavian high-street chain.
Duties included designing and developing ladies footwear and accessories collections, trend forecasting research and dealing with factories when producing samples.


Hetty Rose Samuels, Chelmsford: December 2009 to January 2010
Part time work experience with independent footwear designer which involved helping with hand production of elements of the shoes.
