Being born in South Africa and having lived in Kenya for most of my life, i feel passionately about using different countries and cultures to inspire my work. always looking for a new and exciting edge, whilst still incorporating classic styles and traditions, The balancing of the two is can be hardest task.

BoweK is a luxury footwear brand which is inspired by it's surrounding. In this particular collection the focus has been on Asia and Chinese art. Looking at the use of exotic material and Chinese satin silk. Such as Eel Skin, Crocodile and Ostrich. The satin silk lining used was then in a bright contrasting colour which made the shoe/boot more striking.

BoweK is based in London and is now looking for a new challenge to test and strengthen my understanding of footwear
