MA Visual Arts: Book Arts 2011

Camberwell College of Arts

Description

My practice considers the patterns of human behaviour that are embedded within the form. Processes and social dimensions are held within the structure and the making and could be regarded as the chromosomes of each piece.
The process contemplates a human issue on a global scale but the reading of the book brings the viewer into the realm of the personal and individual experience. This methodology focuses upon our capacity, as individuals and a race, to negotiate and reconcile the complex social and cultural issues created by human technological advances in a finite and emotional world.
