Description

Originally trained as a painter I find the depth, delicacy, weight and technical challanges of working in glass a constant revelation. My main inspiration relates to ideas of transition and detachment brought about by illness and death. How we must dispose of and detach from material possessions. What is kept and what is disposed off. This is also in part an exploration of my role of being a carer and ongoing questions relating to this.
