How can we translate scientific data into textile design representing a hybrid language in-between science and future designs?
My project confronts scientific data and methods with bio/e-textiles in order to find a balance between individual identity and single celled organisms. I have been fascinated by the growth, the movement and the shapes of the invisible membranes in nature especially the bacteria population. By doing so, I wanted to make invisible into visible to create a second layer on human body based on the interaction between the largest organism (Human) and the smallest one(Bacteria).
Join us to celebrate creativity and spot the stars of the future this summer. Eclectic exhibitions of art, design, fashion, communication and performance are taking place at sites across London from April to September and are free to attend.More information
