Description

Nadia Ali's latest collection is based on the symbolical meaning of peacocks in various religions, she uses these meaning to illustrate and create wallpaper designs that best represents them.
Her use of vibrant and electric combination of colours is inspired by her traditional and ethnic patterning, most of her designs are rendered by hand and she is very passionate in producing delicate and detailed designs.

The main inspiration behind her work comes from learning about different cultures. Nadia finds natural forms facinating and tries to emulate the beauty of this within her work. She enjoys the process of hand printing her designs as it gives each print it's own individual character. When Nadia designs she feels a strong desire to make her influences apparent, whislt also aiming to create something unique that expresses her emotions and gives an insight into her thoughts.
