Description
Specialising in knitwear and inspired by the movement, layers and contrasts within an organ that everyone possesses and sees on a daily basis. This project explores the relationship and contrast between our human skin, what is under the skin and new layers of skin. Contrasting strong colours and techniques with subtle choices of yarn to create an outcome that is a mix between the extravagant and the understated. Producing tactile yet delicate knitwear using leather and cord yarns the garments become pieces that can be worn as a new layer of your own skin.
