Description

In my works the subject matter revolves around combinations of object and body. Drawing from my subjective experiences and intuition I challenge myself to be truly receptive to what I am confronted with everyday. I look closely at common objects and places, and attempt to reveal the unseen side of things. I explore emotional resonance of objects and search for unexpected configuration which could carry a psychologically charged reading. I am intrigued by the energy of simple geometrical shapes, saturated colours and a contrast between man made and natural textures; often employing them as means to emphasise a visual dialogue.
