My practice is focused on the female body. Through the use of photography I produce images that explore how a woman perceives her own body, how a woman’s body is perceived by others and how the female form can be manipulated both through the angle of the lens and also physical manipulation into something simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar.
My main use of the domestic setting allows my practice to explore the ideas of a female body in intimate territory and allows an exploration into the daily routines that shape and determine the female form in everyday life.
