Fashion contour student combining contour elements with womenswear. Inspirations delve from storytelling deep and personal background, combined with a knowledge for trend awareness and research.
I always aim to develop pieces with originality, and enjoy the process of seeking inspiration from my own sources, whilst developing idea's from trend reports and comp shopping to execute an infusion of innovative and trend aware designs.
I am inspired to work with exciting and unprecedented fabrics and manipulation techniques such as pin tucks and pleating along with panelling.
My work is usually relatively tough and boldly structured whilst possessing qualities of femininity and elegance in a classy and striking aesthetic.
After my placement year, working in the industry has opened my eyes to a new style and aesthetic that is more toned down and whilst still creative, my final collection is more wearable and clean than previous work.
