Emily Seulki Uhm is a London based Korean designer. She was born in Seoul, Korea and educated in Chicago and London. She gained her BFA degree at The Arts Institute of Chicago in 2008, and MA at London College of Fashion in 2012.

Emily works and lives in London and Seoul.
Her label, Emillium launched in 2013.

The collection, Dispersive Prism AW13

Since Emily interests to make women's body look slender with her garments, this collection ‘Dispersive Prism’ is an extended research from her MA collection ‘Visual Illusion trough Textile’ which focused on textile to make the hourglass shape of women's body.

This collection ‘Dispersive Prism’ aims to trig people’s sight by embellishing and colour blocking. To disperse the people’s sight from the women's real body shape, the embellishments places on upper body parts such as collar and top pocket and the colour blocking placed at waist area.
Using electrical components, which is usually used only inside to make outside working and beautiful, as the embellishment symbolize not only outer beauty but also inner beauty of women.

The collection, Dispersive Prism was presented as off schedule exhibition at London Fashion week with Fashion scout from 15.Feb. 2013 to 19.Feb.2013.
