Ellen Pitfield is a London based designer and graduate of BA (Hons) Cordwainers Fashion Design Technology: Footwear.

Ellen’s style offers an eclectic mix of edginess and elegance. Her final collection was founded on the notion of natural contradiction; looking at the juxtapositions that occur in the natural world and the contrast of embodying both strength and vulnerability. She primarily focused on protection and adaptation, propelling her to experiment with unique materials such as polymorph, which she has successfully developed and incorporated into her designs. The process of development is essential to Ellen; she seeks to use unique materials in unusual ways, taking an artistic approach to design. She utilises a vibrant mix of colours and materials to offer a rich and distinctive collection.
