Description

My work is inspired by my passion for collecting, it has a strong sense of nostalgia often incorporating and recycling vintage fabrics, and papers; yet is completely contemporary. During my travels to European cites namely Berlin and Helsinki, I gathers all sorts of odd ephemera, e.g dolls, postcards and haberdashery which are used as source material. I combine screen-print, printmaking and digital processes with layering, stitch and appliqué in bold colour combinations to create playful, quirky mixed media designs and one off pieces.
