Archival materials are an embodiment of identity, memory and history; they condensethe past, present and future.
Having explored the archive of the Theatre Royal Stratford East,
I was interested in discovering the possible narratives in its collection.
I intended to curate the archive material in the form of promotional material for the theatre, connecting the heritage to its present purpose.
This way of exploring the theatre's identity can be seen as a more reflective and less commercial approach to branding.
