Marcus Dobbs

BA (Hons) Drawing 2013

Camberwell College of Arts

I’m a 22-year-old artist from London, England. In 2013 I graduated from University of the Arts London, with a Fine arts degree in Drawing.

My work explores imaginary worlds, with a keen focus on the utopian/dystopian visions of the city, stemming from my influences growing up and studying in London. I've always had a fascination with London's dark history and the environments it has given birth to, whether it be archaic or inventive.
Up until the present day, I have created work in a number of different practices such as; drawing, digital, set design and film.

I am currently collaborating with director Ben Charles Edwards on two projects, one being a short film for Hendricks Gin 'Ways of seeing' & the other being his first feature length film 'Set the Thames on fire' set to be released in 2015
