Description
'The Roman Invasion of Britain' is based in this particular event in AD 47, which transformed the lives of the native Celts at the time. A process of acculturation, colonisation and otherness occurs when local Celtic jewellery is mixed with Roman mosaic work. The result is a coherent collection based on creative hand embroidery, minimalist silhouettes and color-blocking.
Currently I work as a part-time Lecturer in Fashion Design and Illustration at the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico. I also hold an MA in Medieval Studies from King's College London (2011).
