Description
I am a graphic designer recently graduated in Chelsea College of art. My main interests include - branding, typography, design for print, crafting and paper art.
My practice explores language sustainability and the tight relations language has to identity and tradition.
This piece is a modern interpretation of a traditional way of convening information, using a different symbolic code to represent the meaning. Just as traditionally the viewer needs to be familiar with the system of reference in oriental tapestry to understand the story, now the viewer needs to be familiar with the modern devices that help us understand those codes.
“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.”
-Ludwig Wittgenstein
