Hello and thanks for taking the time to look at my work.
After working in the TV industry for more than a decade I took the significant gamble to return to school to learn how to make shoes. This turned out to be the best decision of my life so far and has led to me having the privilege of working alongside some amazing people - most notably shoe legend Terry de Havilland.
I make my footwear designs entirely by hand using shoe making and leather working skills that I have more recently applied to helmets and masks.
Examples of these leather helmets have recently been commissioned by both British and Italian Vogue and have featured as sculptures in group art exhibitions alongside Sir Peter Blake, Rachel Whiteread and Vivienne Westwood amongst others.
My MA Final Collection combines these ideas and developments in both footwear and helmets. The theme: a regal yet decadent masked ball held in the depths of the Congo Delta... a Kongo Bacchanal.
