I am a writer, stylist and aspiring fashion journalist. I've just finished my writing portfolio, which was my final major project for my BA. All my articles were on the theme of colour! Each was imagined for, pitched to and written in the style of a particular publication and then designed to look as similar as possible to the house style.

I wanted to push my skills as far as I could and so I chose a wide range of magazines for this: some, like AnOther magazine, are long time favourites whereas some, like Prima Mother & Baby, I'd never read before. The magazines I chose also included Elle, Drapers, Fantastic Man, i-D, The Guardian, The Sunday Times Style, Lula, Nylon, NME, Loud & Quiet and Colors - with my theme, I thought it'd be rude not to!

My interest in writing for the internet meant I also wrote articles especially for the internet for my portfolio, aimed at online magazines and websites. I have also been writing my personal fashion blog, Wolf Whistle, for nearly two years. My writing has appeared in various places online, including magazines Nothing Bad, Télégramme and Fashion 156. It has also appeared on the Grazia website after I won their fashion writing competition. Additionally, I have undertaken plenty of work experience. My three biggest placements to date have been at ten weeks at Tank magazine, eight weeks at Company magazine and six weeks at online fashion magazine Fashion156.com, which included reporting from London Fashion Week.
