This collection is inspired from traditional Korean garments, especially Korean wrapping called ‘bojagi’. Koreans have long believed that pok (good luck or happiness) can be preserved inside the cloth wrappings. This made them important components in many traditional ceremonies and rituals.
Another inspiration is ‘Norigae’. That is a traditional women's accessory in Korea which was later favored over necklaces, bracelets and rings. It enhances the beauty of handbook, the traditional Korean costume, by providing a visual focal point in the look and by achieving harmony with the color and the line. This collection has lots of hand dyed rope accessories such as rope jackets, necklace, bracelet etc which are all results of this inspiration.
